What does a professional school counselor provide for your student at the elementary level?
I support every student’s academic, social, and emotional growth. I provide classroom lessons, small group support, and individual check-ins to help students build skills like problem-solving, friendship, self-regulation, and confidence. I also collaborate with families and teachers to create a safe, welcoming school environment where all children can thrive.

The counseling program at Black Lake Elementary offers a proactive and preventive approach:
  • Classroom Lessons for ALL students using SEL Curriculum
  • Groups featuring lessons in: Friendship, Grief, Divorce, Conflict Resolution, Bullying Prevention and Bystander Intervention, Emotion Management, Worry and more!
  • Individual Counseling (1:1 Student Support)
